Horris Hill is an all-boys full boarding school, successfully preparing boys for 13+ entry to senior schools. However, we appreciate that the choice between being a day boy and a boarder for the younger boys is made harder by our boarding model being at least six nights a week.

From September 2018, families whose boys are aged 7-11 will have the option of Transition Boarding, which will be four nights a week (as well as Day or Full Boarding).  Transition Boarders will board on Monday and Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, but will be at home on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday nights. This structure fits nicely with the rhythm of our school week as well as providing a stepping stone to full boarding. The transition boarding fee from September 2018 will be £7,950 per term.

Our school’s fees are reviewed annually by the Governing Body.  Parents are informed before the start of the Summer Term if there are to be any changes.

The Governors are committed to broadening access to the school by offering  means-tested financial support to help with the payment of school fees. This support is known as a Bursary and is awarded in the form of a percentage discount on basic fees payable.  Award of a bursary will depend on the financial, compassionate or other circumstances of applicants.

Bursary awards are subject to repeat testing of parental means each year and may be varied upwards or downwards, depending on change in circumstances.

Full details are available by contacting the Bursar here.
