What would happen if you put Glastonbury and Coachella into a mixer and added a spattering of Splendour in the Grass? It would be the annual Horris Hill Gap Talent Show, a must-see in the school calendar. We had soloists out front, some full-on and energetic hosts, some comedy acts, a duo and an act that included a ghost, a cricket bat, a plastic hockey stick and a wooden one which had clearly seen better days. This was high octane stuff and when one factors in the winning act of three or four foxes, some fancy choreography, a tree and a bloke with a gun, it’s not hard to see why. What a show and what a triumph! Well done to all the performers and especially to our super-talented team of gap students.
