Hot on the heels of the touring South African side came a full set of fixtures to round off a successful cricket season. Matches over, and Saturday moved seamlessly into a whole school evening barbecue. The younger boys were setting up tents in readiness for their overnight camping in the grounds and the weather was kind. Sunday saw several boys getting all creative in an Art Workshop, whilst others were off to the beach or up ropes on a Tree Runner trip. Thus ended our final weekend of the year, every bit as varied and busy as the first. Tomorrow some boys will be flying up our local Iron Age hill fort for an evening picnic, games and a chance to watch the sun set over the fabulous 360 degree views. Others will be having an evening of waterslides, games and a picnic in the grounds. It only leaves me to say a massive thank you to all the staff for everything that they have organised at weekends throughout the year and to the boys for being such great company.
