It's one of those events that brings the whole school community together in a shared
sporting extravaganza. With banners flying as though heralding some majestic medieval tournament, the school gathered on the Common to take part in the annual colour cross-country competition.
Various strategies were employed; from running flat out some of the way then taking a little stroll, to running flat out the whole way or even running the course twice so as to retrieve a running shoe that had somehow got stuck deep in one of those boggy sections that are a feature of the course.
The afternoon was slick and fun and huge thanks go to all the runners and the organisers of this high profile event in our sporting calendar.
