Athletics
With grass 4 lane 200m oval and 100m straight tracks as well as a superb tartan run-up long jump pit, separate concrete shot putt and discus circles and foam high jump landing mats, we are extremely well equipped for an excellent all-round education in athletics.
All boys have the opportunity to learn all events through an annual block of PE lessons and weekly games sessions in the summer term, before specialising in their final year. We run teams for senior, middle and junior in a couple of prominent local meetings as well as entering the strongest individuals for district and national trials.
Our track finals sports day on the last day of the summer term is an action packed occasion where parents come and watch their sons competing in at least two events.
