The teaching of Information Technology at Horris Hill offers opportunities for pupils to develop their knowledge and skills regarding the subject and formal lessons are timetabled for all pupils. Pupils develop their skills from basic word processing to image enhancement, page layout design and use of spreadsheets and there are very close links with a range of other subjects.
Use of the internet for research is used extensively under staff supervision and the school has its own comprehensive e-mail and internet policy.
Pupils are able to use the e-mail facility regularly and each pupil has his own e-mail address.
