Having finished their exams, the leavers enjoyed a fabulous Roman Banquet on the Common at Horris Hill. Mr Sudbury had spent the week preparing an extraordinary feast;

Quails plainly baked, Venison and wild berry casserole with Cumin, Rabbit in sweet wine and fennel, Salmon stuffed with herbs and barbequed, Barbequed Ostrich with plum sauce, Lettuce and onion relish with lovage mint sauce, Carrots with cumin and lemon, Meat of strange jumping beast from the southern parts, Black & White striped horse cooked with ale & onions, Ship of the desert, baked with ginger & nut sauce, Wild boar with apples & sage, Leeks in white wine sauce with marjoram
