Junior department visit to Ufton Court
The Junior Department recently visited Ufton Court to experience life Tudor-style. The day started with a “Wattle and Daub” workshop where boys learnt to make authentic Tudor fences out of cane and mud! They then examined Tudor artefacts and learnt about their uses before heading to the herb garden to make herb pouches, to help them smell more pleasant. Finally they got to enjoy some Tudor fun by playing traditional games including chess, draughts, skittles, coits, skipping and stilt walking!
